Business Process Management
Companies need to have information systems able to manage the information traffic coming from the different business processes and to provide information in real time in order to help the decision making.
This need can be faced thanks to the BPM (Business Process Management). The BPM is a vision of the business organization that foresees the description of the business activities according to the pertaining processes. From the description of these activities you can identify the factors in which are composed and how to automate their management.
The methodological approach has the purpose to provide the needed information to the managers in order to allocate the business resources to the various processes in an accurate way.
The integration demand is a critical factor, that needs the maximum collaboration among the different business sectors (particularly, logistic-organizational and IT) in order to effectively answer to the business requests. Thanks to the BPM, the business processes are described, mapped and decomposed. This allows to automate and, therefore, to monitor and manage them in real time.
