Service Oriented Architecture

img_consulenze

The Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a set of applications, or an integrated system, built according to a logical design.

The architecture is built privileging the services of the informative system provided to the consumer, for instance: "Create an order", “update the inventory" or "furnish the history of a promotional event."
The Service Oriented Architecture allows to pass from an infrastructure where services are replicated, to one centralized. The SOA allows convergence and communication between services and lets to develop new applications in a more productive way.
The adoption of a SOA brings the following advantages:
  • all components or applications already in use can be used again and integrated in the new architecture: there is no waste of resources.
  • it is not necessary to face again a big bang start of the system, but can be adopted an approach step by step
  • this architecture is durable (it is scalable) and allows a quicker implementation of new projects
  • the management is centralized and the services use is distributed
  • awareness, knowledge, and management of the services sensitively improves
  •  the technology is able to change as fast as business
  • the expense in IT drastically lowers thanks to a reduction of the maintenances activities.

TRIA adopts a logical approach to SOA that provides a simultaneous, flexible and fast access to the data, to the business processes and to the whole IT infrastructure.
